In the Hungarian and Polish productions, Christine doesn't use a wedding dress. The dresses featured here is the Mirror Bride ones.

At the outset, I'm sorry for my long absence, but I must study for really important exam and unfortunately I haven't a lot of free time.

Christine's Masquerade dress

Star Princess it's beautiful costume. As we know, Broadway and West End versions are different. First of all, we must pay attention on project and inspiration. Ladies in XIX century wore similar dresses at some events (?). I saw once few posters from XIX century informing about Masquerades in Palais Garnier, and the ladies who was painted on these posters, were dressed in dresses who look like Star Princess costume.

Moreover, on the photos, this costume looks really nice, but on live is really wonderful! Love it!

Hungary non-replica

This costume is...weird. Length dress is nice but these ornamentation... Blue flowers - it was really BAD idea. Colors could be more "live" example red etc.

2004 movie

You know what I think about movie Phantom costumes. So. Color is awful. This dress for me looks awful. No comment.

Polish non-replica

It's just a copy of Christine's dress in 2004 movie. Here was amended by color and added ruffles. Anyway, we still have crinoline...

Czech non-replica

We can see here inspiration of original Star Princess. It was good idea. Lovely colors. I must see this dress on live. I like these ruffles.

Estonian non-replica

This dress remind me Sarah costume from Tanz der Vampire. I like red color but I'm not so sure that this dress suitable to Masquerade. You know, I don't saw Estonian production of Phantom so I can't write anything about this. Maybe this costume is perfect to this show or maybe not. I think it's nice.

Anyway. As you know, I've been some time ago in London and I saw Phantom in Her Majesty's Theatre. I promise that I soon write some about that :)

Think of Me dresses (Christine and Carlotta)

Original Elissa's dress is really beautiful. It has some rich ornaments and we can see, that proprietress this dress is princess or someone very important. In addition to this, I love these colors.  

And scarf of course!

Christine and Carlotta have the same dress.

Hungary non-replica

Carlotta's dress isn't bad but...these colors are awful. You know, if there would be some different colors, maybe her dress would look much more better. Christine's dres... this dress is the best non-replica's costume of remaining. Nice colors and cut.

2004 movie

Minnie has really nice costume. I mean, this dress just suit to Hannibal opera, and has nice colors and ornaments so I think that this costume is good.

Emmy has Sisi's dress. Why? Why she wear elegant, white dress to performance, which the story is beginning BC?

These costumes are just a copy of movie outfits. Shame. And of course these are much more awful.

Czech non-replica

Hmm....original. Nice shape of skirt. Colors are really pretty. Corset is beautiful. Czech Phantom has cool costumes, and this is my last sentence on this topic.

Christine's Wishing dress

This is classic victorian dress. Perfectly suited to the XIX century. Maria Bjornson knowed what exactly young ladies worn in that epoch. Colores are amazing, generally my favorite color is blue so... I love that corset(?). Narrowing in waist optically slims silhouette. Beautiful sleeves. Love that costume. Unfortunatelly on these photos you can not see a back of this dress, but - as you know - is really big. As I said before, this outfit looks like real XIX lady's costume.

Coat is classic, creators had a amazing idea to give Christine red scarf.

Hungary non-replica

I think that this dress was inspired by original. It was good idea but this collar looks like napkin (sleeves also - and by the way they're too short), Skirt is nice. Colores could be a little more dark. Generally is really good. 

Coat is beautiful! Shame, that Christine haven't any scarf or something, but I really like it.

2004 movie

Designers had a really good idea to create Christine's dress in black color. It looks like Christine wore this outfit a sign of mourning (and probably exactly was like that). Sling on her head is nice, but - in my opinion - it could be not transparent.

Big black coat obscures Christine's outfit, so I can not say anything about her dress, because I can't see it. Sorry.

Really nice contrast between flowers and outfit.

Polish non-replica

As the rest of polish costumes, this outfit is failed. Once again, creators gave Christine a crinoline. God, why?! Dress is really poor, it haven't any ornaments except of this one cross on her chest. This color remind me a color of toilet paper. Unfortunately, this costume is bad.

Czech non-replica

Inspiration of Maria Bjornson's projects. Perfect. I really like this costume. It has AMAZING back. Love these valance. Color is beautiful, sleeves could be a little more long, but it's good. Interesting outfit. 

I think it will be the best non-replica.

Summing this all, I think that original dress and that outfit from Czech non replica, are the best.  Perfect suit to XIX century. Good job.
