Just look at Phantom's Lair. I don't know why, but it recalls me the Leroux's story. Not something inspired by his book, but real Gaston's Phantom and Christine. I must see this show!

Christine Nilsson

There are many similarities between Christine Nilsson and Christine Daae, and many believe Leroux based the character on the real-life opera singer, although evidence for this is unverified.

She was a Swedish operatic soprano and she married Angel Ramon Maria Vallejo y Miranda, Count de Casa Miranda.
