Think of Me in the UK Tour is almost without change. Choreography is the same like in the original show, but Christine hasn't a scarf. The idea of ballet in the background is...interesting. It's look pretty good, but I think, that this scene is only for Christine. Anyway, is good. Shame, that an actress do not bowing at the end.

Cosette's Redesigned Wedding Dress

We've got two versions of Les Miserables: original and The Tours (and Broadway now). Both shows doesn't to much differ from one another, but eg Cosette has two different In My Life/A Heart Full of Love dresses...

Original

The first Cosette's dress. In 1985, Rebecca Caine sang In My Life on the Queen's Theatre stage. She worn dark pomegranate dress with white lace collar.

Generally, actress in this outfit looks so much innocently and girly, so I can say, that I prefer this dress than that from The Tours, but now, let's move to next costume...

The Tours (and Broadway)

Well, this dress is nice, but not as much like that first. I really don't like these puffy(?) sleeves. Style of this outfit is nice, but green color... Maybe if would by - I don't know - blue? But not light, only dark. And sleeves a little small. This costume isn't bad, but I really prefer the first.

Summing that short note, I don't understand, why costume in The Tours is different than in the original show. I remember, that Cosette's coat and hat also is different in original and in the next show.

When else I write something about coat and hat, but I will must say, that dark wig is to much nicer than blond. I also prefer Katie in dark hair, so...

So, summing of all these years as UK Tour was started, the Star Princess costume has changed a 4 times. At the beginning was actual West Ends' dress version with different accessories. After, actress wore the strange dress - for sure not from XIX century - totally stripped down to halfway decorated. And now - finally - in US Tour is actual US version of this costume with different accessories. Maybe someday thats production will be not exist and original show come back to official tour.

Christine's US/UK Tour costumes

Slave Girl costume on the Broadway (Samantha Hill) has a lot of beads etc. but UK (Katie Hall) costume has got much better colors - maybe you cannot see that in this picture, but it is by the bad quality. Christine and rest of ballerinas on the Broadway have got crowns and bracelets. In The Tour production, actress haven't got any jewelry. Shame, I prefer costume on the first photo, from the Broadway. On the West End, slavegirl costume is very similar to Tour costume, but actress have a jewelry, so it's look nicer. Anyway, as I said before, I really like colors from The Tours production.

Elissa costume is one of my favorite in Phantom. The difference between Broadway (on the photo is Marni Raab) version of this skirt and The Tours (Julia Udine) is for sure width of skirt. In The Tours (and on the West End), Elissa skirt is extends to downwardly and has wider sides. Generally, that Tours costume is practically identical as the costume in London. The skirt from Broadway is a little narrower than it equivalent in The Tours/on the West End. Decorating in Broadway's skirt are much more pretty than the second costume. I prefer this costume made by creators from Broadway and generally US (Las Vegas, 1st National Tour etc.).

Dressing gown is tied from the other side. If I must be honest, I cannot see in these costumes any biggest differences. I remember that in the bootleg of US Tour with Julia Udine, the dressing gown is too big for her, but it is - I hope so - a mistake made by seamstress. I prefer original costume (Harriet Jones) than this from Tours production (Katie Hall). 

I think, that we shouldn't compare these costumes to itself. Original Star Princess dress (Ashleigh Fleming) is much, much more better and much more refined than this cistume in The Tours (Julia Udine) production. Shame, that creators not given original sleeves to this dress. That's all, what I can say about it.

 As in the case the Masquerade costume that dress in the Tour is awful, cheap, without any good idea. I LOVE original wedding dress. It's real costume from XIX century. In The Tour we have just a nice skirt with ordinary, ugly, white corset. I really don't like this costume in Tours production and really shame for designers that they hadn't any good ideas for that costume.

Summing it all, PONR and WYWSHA costumes are very similar to itself in both productions. Serafimo costume in The Tours is the same as the outfit on the West End. Countess dress is different - for sure - in colors, but I cannot find any good photos to comparision. Aminta dress is the same as on the Broadway - I think. I don't see any other differences.

I prefer original costumes than these from US/UK Tour. Some of the second production are nice, but definitly original are better.
